Soba Taikotei on Route 171 Has Been Renovated

The lanterns gave it a really nice atmosphere.

The address is 6-18 Oshima-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.

Across the street is the Maruhachi parking lot.

If you go this way, you’ll find ramen shop Zundouya, Pal Yamato, Yoshinoya, and more.

If you go the other way, there’s Maruhachi, the main Sazae ohagi shop, and the road continues toward Amagasaki and Itami.
The rice bowl sets look good. I like oyakodon.

They had reasonably priced side dishes that looked like they’d go well with drinks.

Maybe the seating and lighting inside have changed. From what I could see, it had a calmer atmosphere.

The signboard looked much more appetizing.

By the way, it seems sudachi citrus has become hard to get due to bad weather, so they’re using lemon instead for the time being.

Finally

This location also has a spacious parking lot, so it seems like an easy place to visit by car. In Nishinomiya, Soba Taikotei is notably located along major national roads: Route 2, Route 176, and now Route 171. I wonder if they’ll open one along Route 43 too.
