It looks like a smoothie specialty shop called “JTRRD cafe(ジェイティードカフェ)” is opening in Hagoromocho along Yamate Kansen. It’s set to open on Tuesday, October 15.

Across the street is Catholic Shukugawa Church.

If you go this way, you’ll find places like Torimasa, Yorkys Brunch, Studio NooB, Spanish Bar Pulpo, and Niku Bar Meat Meat Meat, leading toward Ashiya.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll reach MUFG Bank, Shukugawa Green Town, and Hankyu Shukugawa Station.

Apparently It’s Famous for Art Smoothies

Known as “drinkable art,” JTRRD cafe has already opened art smoothie shops in places like Temmabashi in Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya.

It seems JTRRD cafe is the original art smoothie shop.

(Added 10/9) A Flyer Came In

There’s less than a week to go until opening.

Today (10/9), a flyer for JTRRD cafe was delivered.

Apparently there will be a pre-opening on Thursday, 10.10. (That was written on Instagram, but as of 10/9 it looked like the interior construction still wasn’t finished, so we’re crossing it out for now.)

First landing in Kobe…

I guess “first landing in Nishinomiya” just doesn’t have quite the same impact.

This looks like it’s going to be a shop with lines for sure. Since it’s close to Nishitsu, we definitely want to go and do a food report.
