The Seven-Eleven in Maehama-cho along Rinko Line has installed one of those in-store smoothie machines.

Here it is↓

It’s the machine right in the middle.
Here’s the map↓
The address is 1-50 Maehama-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area Around Seven-Eleven Nishinomiya Maehama-cho

Across the street is the Maehama-cho intersection.

If you go this way, you’ll find Mandai and the Starbucks that opened in July, then Tateishi-suji and Shukugawa, and farther on toward Ashiya.

In the opposite direction, there’s Higashitsuru liquor shop, GU, and Hakushika Classics, leading toward Fudaba-suji Line.
What Are These In-Store Smoothies?
We looked into the new in-store smoothies a little.

This is the in-store smoothie machine. As of 8/28, when we received the tip, it seemed like it wasn’t operating yet.
From Made in-store! Smoothies | Seven-Eleven: Close and Convenient
When we checked the official website, as of August 25 they had not yet been introduced in Hyogo Prefecture, so Nishinomiya might be the first in Hyogo.
We received more information. (Added 9/4)

There are 4 smoothies you can make.
- Green Smoothie
- Double Berry Yogurt Smoothie
- Strawberry Banana Soy Smoothie
- Mango Pine Smoothie
You might be wondering how to buy one, so here are the steps.

It looks like cups filled with chunky frozen fruit and vegetables are sold in the freezer case. You pay for one at the register, then use the machine yourself to make the smoothie.

These smoothies also help reduce food loss by using broccoli that would otherwise be discarded, as well as bananas and mangoes that don’t meet standard specifications.
Lastly
I got confused about the difference between smoothies and mixed juice, so I Googled it and found out that if you blend frozen ingredients, it’s a smoothie! Will these machines keep popping up around Nishinomiya? If you spot another store that looks like it might be getting one, please send us a tip.
