Grill Ippei’s “Here Katsu Ebisu Set” and “Cake Set”

I had this Nishinomiya-exclusive set featuring Grill Ippei’s hugely popular menu item, the “Beef Here Katsu”, along with one fried shrimp, salad, rice, and cup soup.
The “Ebisu Set” is a play on “ebi fry” and “Ebessan”, right? Since it’s the Nishinomiya location, it’s nice that they gave it a name like thatー✨
Whoaーー. This looks irresistibleーー!
The beef tenderloin cutlet was so tender it was easy to bite through, not greasy, and delicious. The sauce was amazing too♪
Look at how perfectly this meat is cooked. It’s just too spot-onーー!
The fried shrimp had a crispy coating, and the shrimp itself was plump, sweet, and absolutely fantastic!
That’s just unfair! I’m about to bite right into the photoー.
The person next to me ordered the Mixed Lunch, and I thought that if you don’t need to eat the here katsu, you can get about the same amount of food for half the price, which felt like a great deal.

After the meal, I also ordered the Cake Set. This time I had the baked cheesecake from Kobe cheesecake specialty shop “LE SHIMIKI（ル・シミキ）.”
They took the photo with a Nishitsudori pin badge tooー✨
The baked cheesecake was rich and smooth. The ice cream was rich too, and it went really nicely with the full-bodied coffee. I was completely satisfied.
Cold ice cream and cake after a meal? That’s the best!

According to a reader who’s a regular at Grill Ippei, the “Tongue Stew” is also excellentー✨
There are lots of fried seafood items too! Looks like you can add toppings starting from just one piece.
As for the “Omurice”, it’s apparently a specialty of the fourth-generation president, who has won prizes in numerous contests. And get this: its best-before time is 3 minutes!
