Previously, in our “Nishinomiya Intersections” feature, we introduced “Kasayacho” as the intersection where the Ozone Line and Rinko Line meet.

This photo was taken at the time(2020/6), and we chose “Kakuma Park,” visible on the left, as the landmark spot for the Kasayacho intersection~
Here it is on the map↓
(The map display was wrong🙏Proofread by Chikuwa-san)
The address is 2-22 Naruocho, Nishinomiya City.

This is also a photo from that time(2020/6), and apparently the wooden structure is called a shade trellis (hikagedana). There were tons of purple flowers blooming there~.
(Info provided by Fucchi @ Nishi2 SP)

So dense~. They look like grapes, don’t they~? This is what’s commonly called a wisteria trellis. Apparently they’re right at their peak now~.

There aren’t just purple ones, but white ones too~
Come to think of it, last September there was also a strange phenomenon where the wisteria flowers were blooming for some reason.

Wisteria flowers reach their peak every year around Golden Week, so you could almost call them the cherry blossoms of May. I don’t think there are many places where they bloom this beautifully, so if you live nearby, why not stop by while enjoying the flowers?
※Thank you to Fucchi @ Nishi2 Supporter for the information!!
