November 30 (Sat) is the day of the Nishinomiya Food Education Festa 2019.
The Nishinomiya Food Education Festa 2019 is apparently held to give people a chance to rethink food through all kinds of food-related experiences.
Note that the event hours are fairly short
The Nishinomiya Food Education Festa 2019 runs from 10:00 to 14:30 (entry until 14:00).
If you come thinking it might still be open around 3 p.m., it’ll already be over, so it might be best to join the event with the feeling of going out for lunch.
What will be there?
It looks like the following items will be on sale.
- Local agricultural products from around the city
- Freshly baked bread
- Japanese sweets
- Jam and umeboshi pickled plums
- Cafeteria meals
The following hands-on activities also seem to be available.
I wonder what kind of Japanese sweets they’ll be making.
The participation fee is very affordable, at 200 to 300 yen.
Overall, it seems like the kind of event kids would really enjoy.

The event will apparently be held at Hyogo College of Nutrition, Culinary Arts and Confectionery. Speaking of Hyogo College of Nutrition, Culinary Arts and Confectionery, we just recently reported that it will close in March 2021. Taking part in an event there may feel especially meaningful.
