After roughly 40 years in business, the restaurant’s final days of operation will be the two days of August 23 and 24.

Around “伸八”
If you go this way, you’ll find 隠岐の島水産 next door, and farther ahead is the direction of the Meishin Expressway.
If you go in the opposite direction, the okonomiyaki restaurant “伸八” is next door, followed by “かぁちゃん餃子,” Nishinomiya Koei High School, and the area toward the Hankyu Imazu Line elevated tracks.

It’s a small place, but they have many kinds of okonomiyaki, and despite the reasonable prices, the portions are really generous.

The proprietress had fallen ill and was hospitalized, but after leaving the hospital, she reportedly said, “This is what gives my life meaning, so I want to reopen the restaurant.” However, her strength did not return as hoped, and she made the sudden decision to close. Whether you’re a regular or someone who has been there before, please consider stopping by during the two final days, August 23 and 24.
