It looks like “玄玄,” a restaurant on Route 171 in Hiramatsu-cho where brown rice takes center stage, is relocating to Ashiya.
(Info provided by Sasako-san, Kaeitsu @ Nishi2 SP, and Yajikita-san)

It seems the restaurant will move near Hanshin Ashiya Station at the end of March. Business at the current Nishinomiya location will continue until February 27.
The new Ashiya location is scheduled to open around mid-March 😃
Location of the current shop↓
The address is 2-28 Hiramatsu-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
Location of the new shop↓
The address is 2-3 Koko-cho, Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture. It will probably open in the spot where the yakiniku restaurant “三馬力2分の1” used to be.
Area Around the Current “玄玄” Shop

Here’s the exterior of the shop.

Across the street is the building that houses cafe & beer にじのれしぴ.

If you go this way, you’ll find Kashimin-yaki Kentaro, Maruhachi, としはる珈琲, and the revived Takoyaki Fu-fu, before reaching Yamate Kansen.

In the opposite direction, you’ll find うどん椀白, 雅苑, and らー麺専門店 どん, leading toward National Route 2.

It seems Yajikita-san recently went to eat at “玄玄” too. The meal looks really luxurious and like a lot of care went into it! They apparently also visited during the pre-opening.
Finally
This is a body-friendly restaurant where you can enjoy Japanese-style lunches featuring brown rice and carefully prepared obanzai side dishes. They also seem to offer takeout deli items, and I imagine it was especially popular with women and health-conscious customers. Some people may be sad to see it move, but Ashiya still feels close enough to visit without too much trouble 😊
※Sasako-san, Kaeitsu @ Nishi2 SP, and Yajikita-san, thank you for the information!!
