We went for lunch at “cafe caho” in Somedonocho along the Naruo Mikage Line, located about halfway between Hanshin Nishinomiya Station and JR Nishinomiya.
When we visited the cafe “Ondes” in Kotoen, a parent and child eating at the table next to us recommended it.
Their daughter wasn’t with them that day, but apparently her name is Kaho, and they like looking up and visiting shops that share the same names as their daughter or son.
It’s true that when a shop has the same name as you, your family, or even your pet, it feels familiar and makes you curious.
Since they recommended it, I went right away with “Mama.”
Here’s our article about cafe “Ondes”↓↓
Lunch at “cafe caho”

“cafe caho Special Omelet Curry” 900 yen

“Pork Belly Rice Bowl with Plenty of Vegetables” 900 yen

Each meal comes with “miso soup,” “chilled tofu,” and “potato salad.”
The pork belly bowl has so many vegetables that you can barely see the meat, which is something a lot of women will appreciate.
Is it just me who feels like all those vegetables somehow cancel out the carbs…?
The seasoning is nice and bold, so the rice really goes down easily.
The flavor and portion size seem like they’d be popular with men too!
Both the omelet curry and the pork belly bowl let you get plenty of vegetables, and they’re really satisfying to eat!
Even we, who usually eat a lot, were completely full and very satisfied.

After getting full, it was time for dessert, which goes in a separate stomach.
This is the “Crispy Caramelized Brulee” 480 yen
*You can add a drink set to lunch for an extra 150 yen
*For sweets only, get 100 yen off when ordering sweets + an individual drink
Crispy on the outside and creamy inside, this brulee was amazing!!
Even when you’re full, sweets are a separate matter.
I shared it with Mama, but as someone who loves brulee, I wanted one all to myself.

Inside “cafe caho”

There were other customers, so we don’t have photos of the table seating, but there are 14 seats in total.
There were also 2 counter seats.
The interior felt spacious, with tables arranged comfortably apart, making it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal or tea.
And it’s stylish!!
