“Ichiryuu,” located on the 1st floor of ACTA Nishinomiya West Wing, is an onigiri specialty shop operated by Iina Dining Co., Ltd.
Since the rice balls are made after each order is placed, you can always enjoy freshly made onigiri.
Takeout is of course available, but since freshly made onigiri is the highlight here, I decided to have lunch inside the shop this time.
So what kind of onigiri do they serve?

Onigiriya “Ichiryuu Nishinomiya” Food
This is the “Onigiri Set Meal (3 onigiri)” (692 yen).
For the onigiri, you can choose any three from the menu priced at 210 yen or less.
This time, I chose “Okaka Cheese,” “Ume,” and “Salmon.”
It’s a set meal that comes with onigiri, miso soup, and side dishes.
The side dishes were croquette, tamagoyaki, kamaboko, fried chicken, and takana greens.
They’re all side dishes that go perfectly with onigiri.
As you can see in the photo, the toppings are placed on top of the onigiri, but of course they’re also inside.
These are generously filled onigiri.
Not only were the fillings delicious, but the way the rice was cooked, how firmly the onigiri were shaped, the saltiness, and the aroma of the nori all made it clear that this is a true specialty shop.

Most of the fillings are classic options, but personally, I recommend the “Okaka Cheese” that I tried this time.
