This Nishinomiya photo features a public phone just a short walk from Hanshin Nishinomiya Station, along Ebessan-suji, in front of Sekisui House.
It’s probably meant to look like a sake brewery, right??
The building that has Sekisui House on the first floor is the “Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation Hyogo Branch Nishinomiya Building.” In other words, it’s the NTT West Hyogo Branch building.
Maybe for NTT West, Nishinomiya brings to mind “sake breweries,” so they made it this way. It’s not like it smells like sake or anything.
