I looked into what makes “茅乃舎 (Kayanoya),” opening at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens on 3/20 (Wed), so special. The more I looked into it, the more I found myself thinking, “Uh-oh. I’m going to end up buying everything in bulk.”
In addition to popular dashi series products such as Kayanoya Dashi, the store will carry seasonings, rice mixes, and more. In the in-store kitchen, they will suggest menus using seasonal ingredients and ways to use their seasonings, and customers will be able to sample every product.

Kayanoya Has an Incredible Number of Products
I love Kayanoya’s dashi series the most✨
When you cook with this dashi, it tastes like something from a high-end Japanese restaurant👧👍Nami👧🌙’s recommended series pic.twitter.com/lVnVCHGddw

At Korinbo Daiwa, I sampled Kayanoya dashi and bought the classic one plus the niboshi dashi, which I thought was the tastiest.
The dashi broth has the flavor of dried sardines and is incredibly delicious!#茅乃舎だし pic.twitter.com/F46juwUsMC— yukohrt (@tsubuyakiyuko) March 14, 2019
Welcome back, Kayanoya’s soy sauce made especially for tamago kake gohan🥚✨
I won’t spill it anymore… lolA perfect lunchtime moment at home…🍚♪
All right, I’ll do my best this afternoon too!!📝 pic.twitter.com/EajVpJNaX7

If you like tamago kake gohan, this is definitely something you’ll want to try.
A gift I received. Kayanoya’s kake yuzu kosho. This flavor is addictive! pic.twitter.com/lGTA2j1H8T

Standing in front of the Kayanoya dashi section, I feel like I’m about to collapse to my knees (my self-control, that is). pic.twitter.com/u3ZnVvUDkk

That’s how tempting it is.
Got a “three-kind sashimi platter” on sale~♪
The sashimi soy sauce is from Kayanoya in Fukuoka.
I got it as a souvenir and had completely forgotten about it💦
So good~~😋💓💓 pic.twitter.com/poGd337EpC— こぶた (@1016Boo) March 15, 2019
Kayanoya originally comes from a soy sauce brewery, so their sashimi soy sauce definitely catches your attention.
Today’s side dish for my son’s breakfast🥚
Kayanoya’s mix for dashimaki tamago🍳
The shape fell apart, but the flavor was amazing🥰
My son finished it all, and Grandpa and Grandma, who tasted it, said it was delicious too, so I’m glad🐓 pic.twitter.com/i4B3nxqU7X— みそパン🍞 (@Misooopan) March 16, 2019
Dashimaki tamago is a classic. It really does all come down to the dashi.
I ran out of ume shichimi,
so I went to buy more.Maybe because I’ve been into yogurt black vinegar lately,
this caught my eye, so I bought it.
I tried the Amaou one.
It’s delicious🍓 The pulp is great❤️
But it’s sweet🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
Seems like it would be good with yogurt❤️#茅乃舎 pic.twitter.com/EC25zx9j22— ℳ (@ESCAPE_M8) March 8, 2019
You can’t go wrong with Kayanoya’s clear soups.

Kayanoya’s “dashi chazuke” is really delicious. Recommended😊 pic.twitter.com/YetMPQTf7L

They even have ochazuke.
I think Nana-chan probably uses the Tokyo Midtown one, though. https://t.co/zO2JlEkcjk (@ 茅乃舎 in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) https://t.co/C3YnZ4RlLZ pic.twitter.com/GJRkwbe9gN

Pouring irizake over sashimi that’s been cured with kombu makes it outrageously delicious, so I often do it when I need comfort. I also like putting it on steamed chicken. I used to make it myself, but lately I usually buy it from Kayanoya… pic.twitter.com/NTrHmI3P40

A late breakfast?
An early lunch?I drank too much by myself yesterday,

The Dishes Made with Kayanoya Dashi Look Way Too Delicious
I used Kayanoya dashi and it turned out insanely good pic.twitter.com/SG5PuVRjn2

This really makes you want to try it.
I read that onion soup made with salted onions is delicious, so I tried making it. I only sautéed the salted onions a little, and even while they were still somewhat white, they were sweet and delicious. Then I added water and a little white wine. After that, I added Kayanoya’s vegetable dashi, and finished it with grated cheese and pepper. It was really delicious.#塩玉ねぎ
