Across the street is the Showa-style izakaya “Hokkori-tei.” (It appeared in Sensei@Nishitsu’s 5 Interesting Scenes Found Around Nishinomiya.)
If you go this way, you’ll find the cafe and lunch spot “Tanto.” Continue straight, then turn left at the end, and you’ll reach Hanshin Mukogawa Station.
Going the other way, you’ll find yakitori “Tomoya” and Curry Kitchen “Karion,” and it leads out to the Old National Route.
Lastly
When we asked someone from a long-standing shop in Komatsu Shopping Street, they said Shikishima Pan had closed quite some time ago.
They also said, “Komatsu Shopping Street used to have lots of shops and was really lively, but now most of them are gone.”
(Update 7/27) According to information from a reader, this was apparently a general store called Kaneda Shoten. In addition to bread, they also sold dagashi snacks and small stationery items. Google Street View as of 2012
