They’re looking for a name for the “sake brewery building” that will be repainted at Traffic Park (Kubo Park).
The playground equipment that’s planned to be painted as the “sake brewery building” ↓

In a survey asking what this building looked like, “apartment building” came in first. (Thank you for taking part in the survey!)
So they’re thinking of making this building “a sake brewery building, in true Nishinomiya style.”
So we’re asking everyone to suggest a name for this sake brewery building! (You can add your own option too!)

A Quick Before and After
This renewal work is being done by students from Otemae University!
They’re right in the middle of it now, and more than half is already finished.
Let’s take a look at the before-and-after and see just how beautifully it’s being transformed.
City Hall

↓
What a transformation~

It even has the Nishinomiya City logo, and it’s been reborn as something even more Nishinomiya City Hall than Nishinomiya City Hall itself.
Nishinomiya Trading, Hyogo Company

↓
↓
↓

The rather serious-looking company “Nishinomiya Trading” has become a cake shop, still the No. 1 dream job among elementary school girls!

Hyogo Company has been repainted as a hair salon!
“Soba Shop,” “Tobacco” & “Liquor Store”

↓
↓
↓

The soba shop has become a sports club! Konami Sports has its headquarters in Nishinomiya, and gyms have been popping up a lot lately.
Previous Nishinomiya gym articles

The tobacco shop and liquor store have become a music hall! Since Nishinomiya promotes itself as “a city where people encounter music,” it feels only natural that a music hall would appear.
Barber Shop, Bakery

↓

↓

The barber shop has become a pizza shop. It’s amazing how the spinning barber pole part no longer looks out of place at all!
The bakery has been cutely transformed into a “little bakery.”

Notice how the ivy gives it a stylish look.
In Closing
We humbly, humbly ask for your help with the survey to name the sake brewery building <m(__)m>(Back to top)
For Nishitsu, and surely for local residents too, it’s incredibly exciting to see something so Nishinomiya-related being created. Apparently, there used to be go-karts here, so I imagine it was the kind of park where kids wanted to play forever. With this renewal, there’s no doubt it will become a colorful, exciting, well-loved park. Otemae University is amazing. Students, it’s seriously hot out there, but please hang in there just a little longer^^
