I submitted an application form for Nishinomiya Shrine’s “Fukuotoko.”
Applications are accepted at the shrine office. You can bring it directly to the shrine or send it by mail.

Due to the coronavirus, the way to participate is very different from usual, so I read everything carefully before filling it out.
The submission deadline is December 15, and the form can be downloaded from here.
Only 80 people will be chosen by lottery!
Starting from the Akamon Gate, which was repainted this year in a vivid vermilion color, is something I’d love to experience at least once!
