The other day, KAZU sent us a photo of the Mikage side of the Naruo-Mikage Line, and the request was: Please go count how many “Naruo-Mikage Line” signs there are along the way. I’m also curious whether the signs differ between Nishinomiya, Ashiya, and Kobe, so please go check. And of course, I want proof that you actually went, with the surrounding scenery visible, so please take selfies too.

I went and photographed the “Naruo-Mikage Line” probablyall of it🚲, which runs between National Route 2 and National Route 43.
Nishinomiya City
The westernmost point(I was wrong m(_ _)m)The easternmost point was across from the Seven-Eleven Wakakusa-cho store. Co-op Nishinomiya Higashi is behind it.

The address is 2-chome Wakakusa-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
This is the intersection where the Naruo-Mikage Line, Ozone Line, and Hongo Gakubun-suji pass through.
There is also one across from SoftBank Hanshin Nishinomiya. ( ・∇・)
This is the easternmost westernmost sign in Nishinomiya City. The sign was positioned high up, so it was hard to photograph.

It took about two hours to get here while taking photos, and this is the halfway point.
Now, let’s take a look at the signs in Ashiya and Kobe.
Ashiya City
The day before, when I did an image search for “Naruo-Mikage Line sign,” I knew that unlike in Nishinomiya City, the signs were installed more like signboards. But since they’re wooden, they blended into the scenery so well that finding them was a bit of a struggle. (Welcia Ashiya Kasuga store)
Kobe City
This is the easternmost point(that was a mistake m(_ _)m) westernmost point of the Naruo-Mikage Line. It’s located 200m from Hanshin Mikage Station.
This was the only sign in Kobe.

Taking a closer look at the signs,
The image on top is the sign in Kobe City, and the image below is the sign in Nishinomiya City.
The wording was different between Kobe and Nishinomiya! After “Naruomikage,” the Kobe City sign has a hyphen!?
There were 24 Naruo-Mikage Line signs in Nishinomiya City, 3 in Ashiya City, and 1 in Kobe City.
