Many people may end up going out on the voting day, Sunday, April 21, and not be able to get back during voting hours.
That’s why we recommend early voting.

What Is Early Voting?
Early voting is a way to cast your ballot before the official voting day.
For this election, early voting is available from Monday, April 15 to Saturday, April 20.
There Are 8 Early Voting Locations
You can vote early at the following locations.
- City Hall East Building 7F(Election Administration Committee)
- Naruo Branch Office
- Kawaragi Community Center(Kawaragi Branch Office 2F)
- Koto Branch Office
- Shiose Branch Office
- Yamaguchi Branch Office
- ACTA Nishinomiya East Building 6F(University Exchange Center)
- LaLaport Koshien(2F Ocean Ride Court)
There Are Conditions for Using Early Voting
When using early voting, you need to select a reason.
The conditions are as follows.
- Work, housework, sightseeing, ceremonial occasions, or similar commitments
- Travel, shopping, or leisure outside Nishinomiya City
- Difficulty walking due to illness, injury, pregnancy, childbirth, etc.
- Living in another municipality due to a recent move
- Difficulty getting to the polling station due to natural disasters or bad weather
If you’re going out with friends, “leisure or shopping” works, and if you’re going to an amusement park with family, “travel” is fine too, even for personal reasons, so don’t worry.
You’ll also need the polling station admission ticket that was mailed to you, but you can still vote even if you forget it. As long as they can confirm your identity with your name, date of birth, etc., you’re OK.
