How the Discount Conditions Changed

Or maybe I just didn’t have the reading comprehension for it, so I’ll summarize.
To give the conclusion first, regardless of how much you spend, you’ll definitely get 1 hour free.
The Previous Discount Conditions
If your combined receipts from all stores in Shukugawa Green Town totaled 2,500 yen or more including tax, you got 1 hour and 30 minutes free.
The New Discount Conditions
This time, there are broadly two types of discounts.
- Shop at Daiei Gourmet City
- Bring your parking ticket to stores other than Daiei and CanDo (100-yen shop)
1. For Daiei Gourmet City
Shopping at Daiei Gourmet City makes your parking free. Receipt required.
- Spend less than 3,000 yen and get 1 hour free
- Spend 3,000 yen or more and get 2 hours free
2. For Stores Other Than Daiei and CanDo
At stores other than Daiei and CanDo, you can get free parking by having each store stamp your parking ticket.
Apparently, just visiting the store is OK too.

I Tried It
I took my favorite ramune candy to the register at the Kirindo drugstore, handed over my parking ticket, and had them stamp it.
Kirindo gives 2 hours free, so that’s really nice.

Even buying just one item at the 100-yen shop gets you 1 hour free.
Even a 10-yen Umaibo at Daiei gets you 1 hour free↓
Oh right, I didn’t know this, but Mitsubishi UFJ Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation also give you 30 minutes free if you bring your parking ticket. Both have their own parking lots, but if they’re full, or if you also have something to do at Daiei, it might be better to park here since you can stay longer.
Finally
At Daiei Gourmet City and CanDo, purchases under 3,000 yen will get you 1 hour free.
At the other stores, if you have your parking ticket stamped, you’ll get 1 to 2 hours free. It might feel a little awkward to ask for just a stamp without buying anything, so picking up something inexpensive should make you feel better about it.
Also, this isn’t related to the discount, but it looks like they’ve added an unlimited parking option for 1,500 yen (8:30–22:30). Coin parking around this area is expensive, so this could be a big help for quite a few people.
