As for me
, Minamisanriku in Miyagi Prefecture is a place I feel deeply connected to, as I’ve visited every year since 2012 as both a “teacher” and a “runner.” It’s wonderful news that cherry trees proudly grown in my hometown of Nishinomiya are being delivered to Minamisanriku, a town I love!🌸🌸🌸
Wanting to “see Tohoku as it is now with my own eyes” and “bring school supplies to my students in Minamisanriku,” I once dashed 200km along the ria coast carrying a tent.
Next time, I’ll run there with the goal of “taking photos of the cherry blossoms and sharing them with Nishitsu fans”!🏃✨
