Happy first year of Reiwa!
For today’s “Reiwa Celebration Danjiri Parade,” the danjiri from Koshikiiwa Shrine is taking part, so we went to film a report as it passed along Kita-Shukugawa-dori.
In the light rain, it was making its way toward Motoyama Station, where two danjiri floats were gathering.

These proud volunteers are truly something Nishinomiya can be proud of!
They’re sure to put on a wonderful parade today. We’re really looking forward to it.
As of 8:30, the weather in the Ashiya area is just a steady drizzle.
About 30 minutes ago it was raining more heavily, so if you’re heading to Settsu-Motoyama, it would probably be a good idea to at least bring a raincoat.
