As of 16:50, it appears service is expected to resume at 17:30. This may change.
The train stopped between Shukugawa and Ashiyagawa is reportedly going to move from 16:51 so that the first car reaches the platform.

From Shukugawa to Shinkaichi.
Service has resumed from Shukugawa to Osaka-Umeda, but there still seem to be delays.
Alternative transportation is available on the following lines.
- JR Kobe Line (Osaka~Shin-Nagata)
- JR Takarazuka Line / Tozai Line (Osaka / Kitashinchi~Takarazuka)
- JR Osaka Higashi Line (Shin-Osaka~Shirokitakoen-dori)

On the same day, JR Kobe Line service was also suspended between Settsu-Motoyama and Konan-Yamate stations
JR Kobe Line service is expected to resume at 0:00 a.m. Also, alternative transportation on Hankyu Railway appears to have been available until 23:45.
