Last time, we put together a list of places around Nishinomiya-kitaguchi, so this time we’re taking a look at Hanshin Nishinomiya.
It’s an area with just as many drinking spots as Nishinomiya-kitaguchi, and plenty of people probably go out drinking there often.
There are also several places that have opened recently or been renovated.
Even if you’ve been going to the same places for years, why not try discovering some new ones?
So far, Nishitsu has visited 10 places in the area.
Here we go~

“えびす大黒 にしのみやえべっさん店”

This place is right in front of Hanshin Nishinomiya Station.
It’s in the same building as the sushi restaurant “えびす水産,” but the spot we visited for our article was the standing bar area of “えびす大黒.”
The prices are cheaper if you stand and drink, which is a nice bonus.
The food was good too.

Dining Bar “BODEGA d’evis(ボデガデビス)”

This one is a dining bar rather than an izakaya, but we stopped by for coverage because it was participating in “阪西ばる.”
It’s a great deal: all-you-can-drink wine for 980 yen.
The food was very good as well, and they even had an unusual dish called “ajillo shabu-shabu.”

“串膳”

This place is a little east of the shopping street, along the Rokutanji River.

This place had just opened in October in Toda-cho, near Hanshin Nishinomiya Station.
It serves fried chicken and yakitori, but the yakitori is in the unusual “bara-yaki” style, meaning it isn’t served on skewers.
The fried chicken also comes in several different seasonings, so you can enjoy trying different flavors.

“磯家波平 西宮えびす店”

It’s located along Route 2, very close to Hanshin Nishinomiya Station.
This place serves hamayaki seafood grill and kushikatsu, and the hamayaki is especially fun because you grill it yourself on the tabletop stove right in front of you.
They also have plenty of other seafood dishes, including sashimi and sushi.

Izakaya “春日 西宮本店”

This izakaya is located a little south of Hanshin Nishinomiya Station.
The owner is from Kochi Prefecture, so the restaurant offers a variety of local sake and dishes from Kochi.
