This time, I went for lunch at Indian restaurant “Charte Charte Koshien”, just east of Koshien Stadium, and tried the all-you-can-eat naan “North Indian Curry Set”!
Believe it or not, three restaurant managers I’ve interviewed in the past all recommended “Charte Charte Koshien.”
Here’s a look at a place where you can enjoy authentic Indian cuisine, a “great restaurant chosen by other restaurant managers”!

Indian Restaurant “Charte Charte Koshien” Food
This is the D lunch set. Served on one plate, it comes with fresh salad, rice, tandoori chicken, papadum, two kinds of curry, and all-you-can-eat naan: the “North Indian Curry Set”（1000円税別）. At first glance it looks simple, but once I tasted it, I was amazed. Above all, it is incredibly “rich”!
A huge piece of freshly baked naan, chewy inside and crisp outside, comes with the set with a real boom!!
And you can have as many refills as you like!（僕は2枚頂きました♪）
This is the rich and luxurious “Vegetable Tomato Curry”.
An authentic Indian chef carefully prepares it from scratch.
The concentration of vegetables is on another level! You can probably tell how thick it is just by looking at the little bits of vegetables around the edge, can’t you!? It’s a rich and deeply aromatic vegetable curry.
And this is the truly incredible “Broccoli Chicken Curry”.
Honestly, its deliciousness is hard to even describe.
It has such depth of flavor that you can’t help thinking, “Just how many spices are in this!?”…✨
I told the manager exactly how I felt.
He said that during preparation, they fill a deep pot with 25kg of onions, then carefully sauté them until the volume is reduced by about half, before blending in dozens of different spices to make the curry.
Then the manager brought this over.
It’s their “special handmade Indian chili paste”,
which apparently has customers getting hooked one after another.
Amazingly, it’s made from “Indian chilies” grown in Namaze by the manager’s father!
It’s not just spicy. The aroma and umami of the chilies are amazing! Apparently, the fresh vegetables grown by his father are also used generously in the restaurant’s salads and curries♪
It goes perfectly with the tandoori chicken!
As I kept eating, I added even more paste and enjoyed the luxurious heat and the flavor of the Indian chilies♪
The Indian cracker “papadum”.
Its crispy texture and fragrant flavor are irresistible♪
This is the manager’s recommendation, the “super-rich lassi”（通常400円/ランチ200円）
The richest lassi I’ve ever had! And unbelievably delicious!!
Not only the curry, but even the lassi was packed with flavor.
And at lunch, it’s an astonishing 200円!

They said the C Set “Masala Dosa” is no longer available here.
Apparently, you can still have it at Charte Charte Takarazuka!
At the Amagasaki location, you can also try a different set menu from the Koshien branch.
Now I want to visit the other locations too and see what kind of “depth” their Indian curries have♪

And here’s another surprise.
Only for customers who order lunch!
They apparently have a “takeout discount”.
Almost half price… that naan is, believe it or not, 150円!?
They also offer “special mixed spices” for takeout（700円）!
As someone who loves cooking, I ordered some to take home so I could get even a little closer to the truth behind this unbelievably delicious “next-level curry”! Now I’m even more excited to cook♪
Their curry menu outside of lunch is also extensive!
I’m really curious about the most popular dish among men, “Bhuna Ghost”.
At night, they seem to offer great-value dinner sets and flexible courses tailored to customers’ requests. Definitely worth checking out♪

The interior is bright with lovely decorations. There are plenty of table seats.
Since it’s such a well-known spot, apparently Gussan also came and enjoyed the curry♪
