Shofukutei Tsurube was the overwhelming No. 1! Tsurube often talks about Nishinomiya on TV. We’ve even written an article about it before. He also said he would be an Olympic torchbearer representing Nishinomiya.

In second place was Tsuda from Diane. A few years ago, he even went shopping at Joshin in Gardens on Downtown Hamada’s late-night show.

And in third place was Yano Hyodo. I’m not sure if he has any connection to Nishinomiya, but it made me remember his old Suberanai Hanashi story about strange sounds coming from his body.

There were lots of other celebrities too, and as you’d expect with Koshien here, there were quite a few baseball players. We’ll share the detailed situations after the ranking of celebrities people want to meet.

Two responses said, “I’d like to meet a celebrity with ties to Nishinomiya.” And with that, people connected to Nishinomiya took all of the top six spots!

By the way, Niko from Nishitsu has also been saying she wants to meet Tsurube, long before we even did this survey. You can’t help but feel close to people who have ties to Nishinomiya, right?

Now, let’s share the actual situations in which people met celebrities.

Fukuda from Tutorial was filming next to Takagi Elementary School. (There was one other celebrity there too, but I forgot who it was.)

Hyodo from Yano Hyodo. I met him at Prera Hall. I just happened to have something to do on the same floor and passed by, and he was very friendly and chatted with me.

Comedian Kyojin was shopping at Kansai Super.

Sadaharu Oh at Hotel Hewitt Koshien on the day before the opening ceremony of the Summer Koshien tournament.

Kanpei Hazama. A long time ago, when I was called in as a beer vendor at Koshien, it turned out to be Kanpei-chan.

I met Tsurube on a Hankyu train a long time ago.

I saw actress Hikari Ishida walking her dog! It was along the Shukugawa River. Maybe around 20 years ago. At the time, I think Hikari Ishida lived in Nishinomiya because of her husband’s work. She was walking with a woman who seemed to be from the neighborhood. Later I saw her on TV saying something like, “When I lived in Nishinomiya, the neighbors really looked after me,” and I thought, oh, she must have meant that lady…

Neo from Chunichi and Fujiwara from Lotte heading south along Koshiensuji from the Koshien opening ceremony toward the private parking lot. They had an aura that didn’t look like ordinary high school ballplayers.

Hikaru Nishida used to come shopping at my workplace a long time ago.
I saw Master Tsurube several times, maybe while he was out walking.
I also see Hanshin players and former players here and there.
All of these sightings were in Nishinomiya City.

At the field in Tsuto Chuo Park near my house, participating schools come to practice during the high school baseball tournament, and I happened to see Yusei Kikuchi and Kotaro Kiyomiya when they were in high school.

About 10 years ago, when I happened to go into the 7-Eleven in Naruo, there was a tall, well-built, good-looking guy there. I thought, “I’ve seen him somewhere before,” and when I looked closely, it was Hanshin’s Ryota Arai shopping like a regular customer. I was surprised.

This was about 45 years ago. Back when Amity Hall was still called the “Civic Hall,” Rumiko Koyanagi had a concert there.
I was given the role of presenting Rumiko with a welcome bouquet.
She is still beautiful now, but even back then her face was really small and pretty, and her eyes were big, round, and sparkling.
And I’m not just flattering her, she smelled lovely. (lol)

Former Hanshin manager Wada was at a convenience store, former Hanshin player Toritani was in a car, former Orix player So Taguchi was at an izakaya, and former Hanshin player Shimoyanagi was walking down the street.

Pitcher Suzuki from the Kintetsu professional baseball team. (About 34 years ago.) I thought a gorilla was running along the Shukugawa River, but it was Suzuki. (He was incredibly muscular.)

Maybe he was back home for the holidays.

About 15 years ago, near Nishinomiya Marina just before crossing Omaehama Bridge on my way to work, I came across Taihei Katsumi and Sayuri filming. They were doing a back-and-forth like, “People who own boats like this must live in mansions.” I was amazed that both of them were professionals who really project from the diaphragm.

Tsurube. I saw Tsurube walking on the sidewalk from inside a car parked on the street in Shukugawa. Even though I pointed and said, “Ah! It’s Tsurube!” he smiled and bowed to me ^_^

A few years ago, I saw Hidehiko Ishizuka (Honjamaka) inside LaLaport Koshien on a weekday.
He was with people who seemed to be staff.

① When I was passing near Koshien Stadium, I saw former professional baseball players Enatsu and Fukumoto separately. I don’t know much about baseball and didn’t notice them at all, but my husband, who was with me, did.
② At LaLaport, I saw Fujinami when he was a rookie. We ran into him at UNIQLO. Again, my husband noticed first. I was surprised by how tall he was. He seemed to be shopping alone, so no one around us, including us, called out to him.
③ Manager Yano filming at Koshien Stadium (back before he was manager). He was surrounded by a large staff, so I noticed him right away. He was tall, slim, and cool.
④ At the now-closed Nishimura Coffee in front of Koshien Station, I saw someone from ABC, though I don’t know their name. Almost all of these are baseball-related.
