While working at the office, our always-hungry (growth spurt!?)
got a wonderful suggestion from
!
This article is brought to you by “ALBOBBY,” a salon that supports Nishitsu.
“You should eat this thing I bought before!” they said, introducing Ozeki’s “Sake Lees-Scented Pork Umami Salt Mazesoba” 🍶

It’s a collaboration product between Myojo Foods (Charumera) and Ozeki 🍳
For anyone who loves alcohol, this is the kind of item that gets you excited!

Apparently, the liquid sauce uses a sake lees paste made from “sake lees” produced during the process of making One Cup Ozeki! I’m curious whether you can really taste the sake lees flavor ✨

With a One Cup in hand, it’s time to dig in!

At first glance it looks like ordinary salt yakisoba, but the aroma is on another level!! ✨
The moment you pour on the pork umami salt sauce, the rich aroma of sake lees gently rises up, and it really whets your appetite! 🍶

To enjoy the One Cup even more, I stir-fried some “shiitake mushrooms and summer-vegetable bitter melon” as a snack substitute (no seasoning added), turning it into a summer-style umami salt mazesoba!
Both the “sake lees-scented noodles” and the “One Cup” went down way too easily♪ Ozeki and Myojo Foods, you did an amazing job!!! 😭✨
Finally
I checked Myojo Foods’ website and Amazon, but it doesn’t seem to be available anymore.
I was super lucky I happened to get to try it!
I hope someday there’ll be a “second collaboration” or something like that!!
