It looks like hamburgers have been getting a bit popular again lately.
I feel like Nishinomiya has quietly been getting more hamburger shops, too.

We decided to put together articles on 11 popular hamburger shops around the city.
From carefully crafted burgers to limited-edition ones, there are lots of delicious hamburgers here~~

Hamburger & Grill “Flowers”

This is Hamburger & Grill “Flowers,” located west of Hankyu Kurakuenguchi Station.
They have a wide variety of hamburgers, and you can customize the toppings freely.
The bacon cheeseburger seems to be popular.

You can even enjoy a beer during the day.
They also have a good selection of desserts.

“CS BURGER”

“CS BURGER” is a new shop that just opened in March.
It’s located around Nishida Park, under the Hankyu elevated tracks.
The owner originally ran a yakiniku restaurant, so it seems they are particular about the meat.

Apparently, the buns and coffee are sourced from nearby shops.
They also seem to have a wide selection of alcoholic drinks.

“Bay*Area 81”

“Bay*Area 81” isn’t actually a hamburger shop.
They make hamburgers using their signature hamburg steak, limited to just 20 servings a day.
And believe it or not, even the buns are handmade.
It really is a carefully crafted hamburger.

Since it’s originally a Western-style restaurant, they have plenty of hamburg steak and spaghetti dishes.
They also seem to hold live music events irregularly.

“Awajishima Burger Koshienguchi Branch”

This shop is located in front of Koshienguchi Station.
There are two Awajishima Burger shops in Nishinomiya, and this is one of them.

Their hamburgers use tomatoes and onions from Awaji Island.
They even have a giga-size hamburger.
I’m not sure exactly how big that is, though…

“Awajishima Burger”

This is apparently the sister shop of the Awajishima Burger in Koshienguchi.
This one is near JR Nishinomiya Station.

This shop also serves hamburgers made with carefully selected ingredients from Awaji Island.
It seems they’ve even received recognition from Tabelog before.
The inside of the shop is on the smaller side~

“TENCI Burger”

This shop is on the 2nd floor of ACTA Nishinomiya East Building.
It has a lot of loyal fans.

As you can see in the photos, these hamburgers are packed with vegetables.
For some reason, they also sell takoyaki.
It feels a bit like a food court shop, so it should be easy to drop by casually.

“KUA’AINA”

This is a Hawaiian burger shop on the 2nd floor of LaLaport Koshien.
It’s a hamburger shop that originated in Hawaii and apparently has 30 locations in Japan, but this is the only one in Hyogo Prefecture.
The shop has a seriously Hawaiian vibe.

Their hamburgers are very filling.
They also have plenty of drinks and side dishes.
The dining area inside is quite spacious, and in the evening there were customers using it like a cafe.

“YORKYS BRUNCH”

“YORKYS BRUNCH” in Shukugawa is a cafe restaurant famous for pancakes, but you can also enjoy hamburgers there.
At lunchtime, it’s packed with local moms, but in the evening it can be used as a cafe, and at night as a bar.
You can order hamburgers outside of lunchtime, too.

There are four types of hamburgers.
A distinctive feature is that they include an omelet.
It was a hamburger with a gentle, easy-to-eat flavor.

Cafe Restaurant “Aqua Main Branch”

This is a cafe restaurant along National Route 43, and they also have a good selection of hamburgers.
It can be used as a cafe, a restaurant, or a bar, and you can even hold private parties there.

There are five types of hamburgers, and you can add various toppings.
The sauce flavor isn’t too strong, so the taste of the beef patty really comes through.
Personally, I thought the bacon added a nice flavor, so definitely try adding it as a topping.

“Esquerre”

This shop is in Yamaguchicho, with a bakery on the 1st floor and a cafe on the 2nd floor.
It’s about 30 minutes by bus from JR Nishinomiya-Najio Station, but if you have a car, driving might be the better option.

You start with the basic “Burger” and add various toppings to build your own ideal hamburger.
The menu shows many different kinds of burgers, but they’re really just topping examples, so you can add whatever ingredients you like in whatever
