Food stalls had popped up at the Nissan dealership near Volks along Route 171, so we went to check them out.
Here↓

The familiar Route 171. You can see Central Sports Park in the back, and something that looks like food stalls in front at the Nissan dealership.

Whoa! There are stalls set up right along the sidewalk! Love how easy it feels to just stop by.

Green curry from the Thai restaurant “Puan Thai” in Kurakuen!!! Seriously, the coconut aroma was so good.

It has eggplant, bamboo shoots, and chicken. Being able to casually enjoy authentic Thai food like this is pretty great.

The person in red at the shop in the middle really stands out. The hat and clothes are both apple-colored, and apparently he’s called “Ringo Ouji” (Apple Prince). Official Instagram

It’s an apple shop that sells apples sourced directly from farmers all around Japan, with a focus on organic produce, flavor, and quality.

But instead of selling those luxurious apples as-is, they sell them as “candy apples.”
A whole apple↓

He said he wants to spread the experience of eating apples as candy apples, so more people can discover safe and delicious apples. You can really feel his passion for apples

They can cut it for you too! Definitely give it a try!

This is “Taiwan-style zenzai Lupaoping” from Tamba-Sasayama. This is exactly the kind of thing you want to eat when it’s cold. Fans and customers were stopping by too

Surprisingly, this Taiwan-style zenzai has sweet potato shiratama dumplings instead of mochi. They say it’s lighter than Japanese zenzai. This is definitely one to watch.

Last up is “Torikara Stand” from Jōgabori-cho, which has won gold at the Karaage Grand Prix multiple times. Nishi2 has also featured it in articles here and there.

They have a huge menu! If you’re not sure what to get,

try this gentle-flavored chicken karaage! You can’t go wrong with this one.
Here’s a comment from someone at Nissan who tried it↓
