Sichuan Mapo Fried Rice Featured on “Today’s Recommended 3”
In the program’s “Today’s Recommended 3” segment, Takeshi Kakugami, editorial advisor for the magazine “Amakara Techo,” introduced three restaurants serving fried rice as part of a feature titled “Worth the Trip! Superb Fried Rice.”
Among them, the second dish featured was the Sichuan Mapo Fried Rice from “味包 (Miho)” in Honwaka Shotengai at Koshienguchi.
Food critic Takeshi Kakugami, known as one of Kansai’s leading gourmets who reportedly eats out 350 days a year and writes for numerous gourmet review magazines, praised the Sichuan Mapo Fried Rice as “a fried rice unlike anything you’d expect from so-called fried rice.”
