We couldn’t beat the PV numbers that kept rising last year…
But listen! As of January 1, Reiwa 2, Nishinomiya City’s population was 487,412. And our PV count was 488,442, which feels just barely short in a weird way, doesn’t it??

Well, starting in January (this month), I’m sure we’ll be back on an upward trend again! I’ll go ahead and celebrate early with a “Yay!” (lol)

A Quick Word on the December 2019 Article Ranking
First place went to the article announcing the date for the Nishinomiya fireworks festival! Since it’s a winter fireworks event on February 9, I imagine it drew a lot of attention for all kinds of reasons. Nishitsu will also be cheering on the Nishinomiya Fireworks Festival with everything we’ve got!
Second place was about the closing of American Eagle in Gardens. I don’t know much about it, but I feel like simple styles are being chosen more often in apparel these days. Maybe that had something to do with it.
In December, many articles that looked into different Nishinomiya topics ranked in, including 4th place on how far National Route 171 goes, 8th place on Nishinomiya’s symbol mark, 11th place on why Nishinomiya has so many community centers, and 12th place on Shukugawa then and now.

A Quick Word on the December 2019 Gourmet Article Ranking
The article on different ways to enjoy Ikinari! Steak was also 2nd on the main Nishitsu site, but it was viewed by far the most on SmartNews. An incredible 40,000 PVs!!
About the tea specialty shop Mlesna Tea House Nishinomiya Main Store, Mama @ Nishitsu and Niko @ Nishitsu both said the scones were completely different from any they had eaten before.
In December, we visited many restaurants featured in Nishinomiya Gourmet Masters, a gourmet book released this year, and many of those articles ranked in. Specifically, these were 1st place “Tainotai,” 4th place “Morimoto Yakiniku-ten,” 5th place “Date Shoten,” 6th place “Katsugen,” 7th place “Hijirian,” and 10th place “Kozen.”

Nishinomiya Tsushin launched on December 14, 2018, and that month we published just 9 articles. From December 14 to 31 in 2019, we published 93 articles, more than 10 times as many!
