Just south of Hanshin Koshien Station, a little west of Hotel Hewitt Koshien, there’s a restaurant called “ステーキ春山” that opened last year.
It’s an authentic steakhouse where you can enjoy Kuroge Wagyu steak, and they also offer takeout.
Due to the impact of the coronavirus, they’ve apparently made a significant price cut on their takeout menu as a way to support people who are having a hard time.
This time, we visited “ステーキ春山” and picked up something from their takeout menu.

“ステーキ春山” Food
We bought this “Steak Bowl” (500 yen).
It used to be 1,000 yen, but it’s now half price.
You can really feel the owner’s generosity.
It comes with 100g of steak grilled in a special sauce, served over rice.
The meat was lean, but it was cooked perfectly and finished incredibly tender (of course, I’m sure the quality of the ingredients is also excellent).
The soy sauce-based sauce was outstanding as well. It not only brought out the flavor of the meat, but also went really well with the rice.
It’s a little hard to tell from the photo, but the portion was quite generous, and it filled me up.
At 500 yen, this is a pretty great deal.
