Some time ago, while I was out running, I discovered a box where you could get a free “bat”.
The location is toward the south side of Shiyakusho-mae Line. It’s a 1-minute walk north from Higashi-san Park and Kotsu Park.
This time, it looks like there’s been a big development!
Inside this box, there was a yellow “bat”.
You can just barely see it in the photo too.
Apparently, anything inside can be taken home freely!
There are all kinds of things in there♪
February 26. This is what it looked like when I first found it.
Along with a priceless bat that may have been used by a Hanshin Tigers player for practice in childhood, there were also gardening tools and more♪
And you can take all of these for “free”!
The one managing this box is ENTEX, a company specializing in exteriors such as exterior construction work.
Every time you look inside this box, it’s kind of exciting!
Now, it was on March 19 that I noticed the incident(?).
No one had come to take the bat, and it had started to look rather sad…
Ah! There’s something that looks like a name written on it! (discovered on April 2)
“Konishi.”
I googled “Hanshin Tigers Konishi,” but there doesn’t seem to have been any past player named “Konishi.”
But… the name has clearly been erased, hasn’t it?
I’m sure it must have said something like “Akahoshi”, “Fukudome”, or “Randy Bass”.
And then, on April 16!
At last!!
The “bat” is gone!?
It’s gone!
Did it find a new owner!?
With it being hard to play outside because of the coronavirus, maybe an enthusiastic boy took it home for “practice swings” indoors.Be careful not to make your mom mad.
ENTEX’s three cute signboard girls(?) seem relieved too♪
