Nishitsu Friends has a new member: にく西”, a place where you can enjoy “premium, but never pretentious, Wagyu loved by pros too”!
Did you know there’s a famous yakiniku spot in Koshienguchi that even pros go to?
Just a 2-minute walk from Koshienguchi Station, the yakiniku restaurant “にく西” has an upscale feel, but

it’s also warm and welcoming, with lots of repeat customers.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is Koshien Sanei Building 1F, 2-3-9 Koshienguchi, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.

It’s on the street with the 7-Eleven on the north side of Koshienguchi.
【Hurry!】They’re doing a limited-time lunch
にく西 is usually open only for dinner, but from May 3 through May 6, they’re serving lunch from 11:00 to 14:00!

It’s soft-set omelet rice with Kuroge Wagyu demi-glace sauce~~~~.

The melty egg and demi-glace were irresistible, and I finished it in no time.
And guess what! Yajikita-san went too, so take a look↓
After eating the roast beef salad that comes with the omelet rice, they said they wished they could turn it into a roast beef bowl~~. Here’s Yajikita-san’s article

When I asked today, it turns out the roast beef bowl was the most ordered item after all. According to にく西, many customers feel the restaurant is a little intimidating. Since they’re doing lunch right now, this is the perfect chance to give it a try.
What kind of restaurant is にく西?
We’ve heard lots of stories and visited the restaurant since before it opened, so let us introduce what makes にく西 so impressive.

First of all, what’s amazing is that they use A4 and A5 grade Kuroge Wagyu!

On top of that, you can enjoy rare cuts like “Kuroge Wagyu harami” and “black tongue”.

All the seasoning is homemade too! Their house-made sauces and the rich flavor of Wagyu sukiyaki really soak in. Some people who’ve eaten there have even called it “an experience that delights all five senses.”

Inside the restaurant, there are signatures from celebrities and professional athletes lined up all over!

And there’s a reason for that. The restaurant is actually run by the parents of professional golfer Naoto Nakanishi, and they have a huge network of friends and acquaintances, so lots of pro baseball players and YouTubers come by too. It’s meat recognized by pros who know plenty of great places to eat.

The interior is calm and elegant, with premium marble,

but Nakanishi’s parents, “Father Nishi,”

and his mother, “Sumi Mama,” make it a relaxing space with their friendly service. At first glance it may seem fancy and hard to approach, but they’re always warm, kind, and happy to chat. It kind of feels like being with your mom and dad.

The menu mainly features omakase courses, so even first-timers can relax! With courses like 8,800 yen and 13,200 yen, every option is filling and deeply satisfying. The meats come out at just the right timing, and you might even find yourself applauding.

You can also order à la carte.

They also have sake from all around Japan, including Kubota~~
