6 Recommended Bakeries in Shukugawa and Koroen

I’m Mii from Nishitsu, and I love bread😆✨

For Nishitsu Gourmet, we’ve visited all kinds of places so far, but among them, bakeries are especially popular😊

Nishinomiya has so many delicious bakeries❗️

In this article, I’ve narrowed it down to Shukugawa and Koroen and put together a list of recommended bakeries🎵

コンセントマーケット（CONCENT MARKET）

CONCENT MARKET is an extremely popular bakery that was selected as one of Tabelog’s “100 Famous Bakeries in Japan”✨

They offer around 50 kinds of bread. All of CONCENT MARKET’s breads are made with long, slow refrigerated fermentation, so sometimes production can’t keep up and items sell out❗️

Since it’s such a popular shop and always full of customers, I recommend going in the morning😊

torico（トリコ）

Located near the elevated tracks by Hankyu Shukugawa Station, along the Shukugawa River, “torico（トリコ）” is a small, cute bakery with a hidden-away feel😆✨

They have lots of adorable, delicious breads in small, rounded shapes❗️

My favorite is the ciabatta pomme de terre😆

It’s a simple bread kneaded with mashed potatoes, but it’s sweet, rustic, and really tasty✨

ブーランジェリーミヤナガ

“ブランジェリーミヤナガ” has lots of savory breads and prepared breads.

Inside the shop, many different kinds of bread are beautifully arranged, and everything looks delicious and appetizing✨

My recommendation is the Shukugawa Shokupan😆

It’s a loaf that has even been featured in magazines, made with French bread dough, plenty of butter, and lots of dried fruit inside. It’s a truly indulgent loaf❤️

It’s not only tasty but also cute to look at, so it seems perfect for Instagram✨

リトルマーメイド

“リトルマーメイド” is located right near Hankyu Shukugawa Station.
For people who live in Shukugawa, it may be the classic bakery that everyone knows✨

They have local Shukugawa anpan, prepared breads, sandwiches, sweet buns, and even light snacks like potatoes and chicken😊

ブーランジェリー・フリアンド

It’s about a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Shukugawa Station, located under the Hankyu elevated tracks❗️

Chef Taniguchi has serious skill, with experience competing in the “Mondial du Pain” international bread-making competition held in Lyon, France, in September 2015✨

The shop has the feel of a neighborhood bakery, and it’s very cute. It’s a popular spot that’s always full of customers😆

They have many kinds of bread, from hard-crust breads to prepared breads, sweet buns, sandwiches, and more👍

In addition to this location, they also have a shop inside Shukugawa Green Town😊
