Construction Set to Begin on New Shopping Facility Near Mukogawa-Danchi Station Slated for Completion Next March

Here’s some new information following our earlier article, “It looks like the facility on the former Takasu Higashi Elementary School site will open around March 2021.”

It seems construction is about to begin on the new commercial facility being built on the former Takasu Higashi Elementary School site in front of Mukogawa-danchi Station.

Construction is scheduled to start in June and be completed at the end of March next year.

The address is 1-1-38 Takasucho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

If you go this way, you’ll reach the Ozone Line, where there’s a Seven-Eleven and an ENEOS on the corner.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll pass in front of Mukogawa-danchi Station, where there’s a MaxValu and other shops, heading toward the road along the Mukogawa River.

It looks like six buildings will be built, including retail shops and restaurants

It looks like seven buildings will be built: Buildings A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.

They appear to include retail shops, restaurants, and more.

UCM and Yutaka Pharmacy will be participating as tenants

According to the Kensetsu Tsushin Shimbun, companies called UCM and Yutaka Pharmacy will be participating as tenants.

Yutaka Pharmacy is the company that operates the Drug Yutaka drugstore chain.(Incidentally, there’s one in Nishinomiya in Hamakoshien)

After looking into UCM, it seems to be a company involved in managing commercial facilities and attracting tenants.

On the latest news section of its website, several companies it has brought into other commercial facilities were listed.
We don’t know whether any of them will open here, but as past examples, they include Tsuruha Drug, Kona’s Coffee, NORTHERN EIGHT COFFEE, Kinnobuta, Komeda’s Coffee, Super Maruhachi, Sundi, and Torikizoku.

Once it’s completed, the area in front of the station looks like it’ll get a lot livelier.

Finally

In our previous survey asking what kind of facility people wanted to see built here, the top answer was a bookstore. That was followed by a bakery, Uniqlo, conveyor-belt sushi, and Starbucks.

It would be nice if something from that list opened here.
