While out running in Higashi-Naruocho, I found an “super cheap” vegetable “open-air market”!

It looks like they sell vegetables three days a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, for just two hours from 10:00 to 12:00.

A spacious farm suddenly appears between the houses.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 1-5-27 Higashi-Naruocho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

The entrance is on the north side!
There were lots of people working in the fields on the day we visited too♪

Freshly harvested organic vegetables grown right here on this farm!
They’re way too cheap! And they look way too delicious!!

A bag packed with arugula and basil is just… an unbelievable 50 yen!

What incredibly vivid carrots!
As someone born in the Year of the Rabbit, this really gets my blood pumping.

It wasn’t out at the stand, but the mother there told me, “We have cilantro too!”
Apparently, the harvest is almost over for the season.
Since I love cilantro, I asked for one bunch, and she went into the field to pick some for me♪

The field has all kinds of fresh vegetables, including Jerusalem artichokes, molokhiya, shiso, and carrots.
They’re apparently growing about 15 kinds of vegetables this season.
The mother came back after picking a bucketful of cilantro♪

Fresh vegetables grown in Nishinomiya!
Miyatan is smiling too♪
Next to the Miyatan banner, the mother is washing the freshly picked vegetables.

I scored a huge bunch of my beloved cilantro!!!
I also bought some arugula for salad: 50 yen per bunch♪

I brought it back to Nishitsu and reported the find to everyone!
This much, this fresh, for just 50 yen!!

We tried the super fresh cilantro right away!
This amount is probably only about 20 yen’s worth♪( ´艸`)
Final Thoughts

Since I got back to the office around lunchtime, we had it together with a takeout roast beef bowl (600 yen tax included) from “29好き(にくずき)” in the Shin-Koshien Shopping Street♪ It went perfectly with the meat!
It was delicious~(^^)✨
