We previously wrote about the closing at the end of last year of “鰻ふじもと,” a beloved restaurant in the Nishinomiya Chuo Shopping Street near Hanshin Nishinomiya that had been around for about 50 years.
On the notice announcing the closure of “鰻ふじもと,” customers have written farewell messages.

Looking closely at the “Notice of Closure,” we saw that many messages had been written by customers.
They are messages filled with 50 years’ worth of gratitude and love for the restaurant.
Information Around “鰻ふじもと”

Across the street is the gift shop “ともえや.”

If you head toward the back of the photo (east), you’ll soon find “エビスヤ小松商店”, famous for Nishinomiya specialties “Ebisu-yaki” and homemade soft-serve ice cream.

If you head the other way (west), you’ll find Nishinomiya Ebisu Shrine.
