Next to Hirota Shrine, we found a mysterious “Amagasaki” bench.
It was wrapped all around with tape.
It’s right next to the entrance to Hirota Shrine.
You can see the shrine’s torii gate at the entrance in the background.
It clearly says “Amagasaki City”!
It’s nice that they wrapped tape around it to warn people about the damaged areas, but… why Amagasaki!?
Could this bench have been brought here from Amagasaki City?
Or did someone from the prefecture accidentally use Amagasaki City tape?（I found this while running, so I was drenched in sweat while trying to solve the mystery）
No way… could this actually be a huge discovery that “the new city border is right here”!?
Miyatan is keeping watch, too.（We checked Google Maps, and of course this is Nishinomiya!）

Maybe??（This is my theory）
In the photo of the bench, there’s an image of a sign on the right about replacing water pipes.

Nishinomiya City Waterworks Bureau and Amagasaki City Waterworks Bureau are also involved in this.
According to the website, the authority has facilities such as the Nishinomiya Pumping Station（2-32 Murokawacho）
and the Kabutoyama Regulating Reservoir（35 Kabutoyamacho）.
If the water pipe by Hirota Shrine is a water pipe belonging to the authority, and if Amagasaki City Waterworks Bureau was involved as the party in charge of the work, then that could explain the Amagasaki City tape…
That’s my theory.
Though I can’t really imagine there being such a large water pipe at this location~
