Welcome to “This Week in Nishinomiya,” where we look back at the Nishinomiya openings, closings, and hot topics covered on “Nishitsu (Nishinomiya Tsushin)” this week (1/20–1/26)!
It looks like three Mitsubishi UFJ Bank branches in Nishinomiya will be merged into one
The branch counters at the Nishinomiya Branch near Hanshin Nishinomiya Station, the Koshien Branch just south of Koshienguchi Station, and the Hanshin Koshien Sub-Branch inside Corowa Koshien appear to be consolidated into the Gate Building at Gardens.

UP Educational Planning
For high school students, university students, and working adults who want a focused self-study environment
A members-only study room has opened 3 minutes on foot from Hankyu Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station, directly connected to the station (4th floor of Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens Plus Building)!
It can be hard to secure an ideal self-study space: you may not be able to concentrate at home, your cram school’s study room may have limited hours, or cafes and restaurants may be noisy and crowded. At UP Educational Planning’s members-only study room, you can use a quiet, calm learning environment year-round from morning to night. Fully private booths are available for those who want to concentrate more deeply, along with small rooms for group study. The space supports every kind of self-study need.
OPEN Friday, December 1, 2023 (early opening for UP members)
※Use by non-UP members is planned to begin in January 2024
