Around Daitomi Soba

Across the street are the Chinese restaurant Koshien Ikkanro and the hair salon J’s.

If you go this way, you’ll find places like Kokinta, GEO, Osho, and Niku no Tajimaya, which we covered in an article about croquettes, before reaching the Ozone Line, where Gusto is on the corner.

If you go in the opposite direction, there is COCO’S, followed by Cocokara Fine, Koshien Teppan Meshi, and then a little past Little Shobo, which we covered the other day, and the onigiri shop Seizaemon, you’ll come out onto Koshien-suji.
Finally
We had actually received information back in August suggesting that it might have closed. However, there was no notice posted, and the phone still rang, so we had been holding on to a faint hope that it might reopen someday.
But this time, since there was a tenant recruitment sign, we decided to write an article. According to the information we received, the restaurant was apparently full at lunchtime on a Saturday sometime in June.
Daitomi Soba had parking available, and its curry soba seemed to be its signature dish, so there were probably quite a few people who really loved the place.
