There was a family of spot-billed ducks downstream on the Shukugawa River.
There were 10 ducklings.
The mother duck looks like she’s saying, “I’m beautiful.”
And here are the incredibly cute ducklings. I didn’t know they huddled together this closely.
Three of them are lined up so neatly.
Duckling A looks like it’s saying, “Wanna go somewhere and play?”
Mother duck: “All right, let’s go.”
Duckling: “Ah, wait for meee!”
Duckling: “I found something to eat!”
Mother duck: “You all better keep up now.”
Mother duck: “Oh, they passed me.”
A long, long line of them～～～
Mother duck: “You all are pretty fast.”
And so, the family of spot-billed ducks went on their way…

Actually, they didn’t go anywhere.
They were hanging out with a turtle leisurely sunning itself.
