This restaurant is located along the Yamate Kansen road, roughly halfway between JR Nishinomiya and Hankyu Nishinomiya-kitaguchi.
Since it’s right along Yamate Kansen, many people have probably passed by it before.
It seems to be a yakiniku and Korean food restaurant.

Yakiniku “Amichan” Dishes
Let’s go ahead and try the food.

We were served a simmered dish as an appetizer.
This was probably brought out as a complimentary service.

We started with draft beer (500 yen).

We ordered the Korean-style tofu salad (500 yen).
It’s a salad with tomato, lettuce, mizuna, chisha lettuce, and tofu.
The seasoning with salt and sesame oil gave it that Korean-style flavor, and it was delicious.
The portion might be just right for about two people to share.

This restaurant uses an old-school style of grilling over a gas flame with a wire mesh grill.

The sauce is a Korean-style sauce with a nice tanginess.
You can add gochujang or garlic to your liking.
Now, let’s finally eat the meat.

This is premium salted tongue (1,200 yen).
All the photos show one serving.

This is loin (980 yen) and harami skirt steak (850 yen).

This is tsurami cheek meat (750 yen).

This is grilled liver (600 yen).
Since we were there, we tried to order samgyeopsal (1,800 yen), a Korean-style grilled pork dish, but we gave up after being told it was “not an amount one person could finish.”
Overall, you can eat your fill of tasty yakiniku here at reasonable prices.
The bill that day came to 7,700 yen, but even if you eat and drink quite a lot, it would probably come out to around 6,000 to 8,000 yen.
Yakiniku “Amichan” Menu

This is the entire menu.
There aren’t a huge number of items, but the Korean-style yakiniku and Korean dishes really stand out.
It also looks like they serve hot pot dishes in the winter.
Inside Yakiniku “Amichan”
The atmosphere feels like a casual, old-fashioned diner-style yakiniku restaurant.
There are table seats, counter seats, and tatami seating.

These are the counter seats.
They look just right for one or two people.

These are the table seats.

This is the tatami seating area in the back.
The restaurant isn’t very spacious.
It’s the kind of place you can casually drop into without feeling self-conscious.
Yakiniku “Amichan” Exterior

This illuminated sign visible from Yamate Kansen is the landmark.

The entrance looks like this.
It faces the road, and you can see inside the restaurant, so I think it’s an easy place to walk into.
