On February 23, a hands-on job experience event for the “Mibu” local currency was held at LaLaport Koshien.

What is “Mibu” local currency?

It’s paper currency that can be used like money at partner shops in Nishinomiya City(currently 3 shops) and at events. You can receive it by taking part in job experiences and various activities.
The other day, an event was held where participants could receive Mibu for joining a cleanup activity at Koshienhama.
For more about Mibu↓

At this event, participants could spend 30 minutes getting job experience by handing out flyers or helping out at this booth.

When you join a Mibu event, you receive Mibu and a Mibu Pass. The Mibu Pass is like a membership card. You can register with just a nickname, date of birth, and dream for the future.

Super ball scooping costs 200 yen per play, but it’s half price if you show your Mibu Pass. Since you can earn 100 Mibu through the job experience, you can basically play for free.
It kind of works like childcare while Mom and Dad go shopping at places like Uniqlo.

They’re making can badges at “Create Nishinomiya,” the Nishinomiya information space inside LaLaport Koshien. It’s run by the people behind Nishinomiya Style
There will also be a Mibu event on Saturday, March 12!
