Welcome to “Nishikon,” a section where readers’ “I did this in Nishinomiya!” stories become articles.(The name is Nishikon, but it has absolutely nothing to do with matchmaking or anything like that.)
For our third installment, we have one gourmet report!
I Tried the One-Coin Plate at “Golf Kissa Dome” [Nishikon Gourmet]
There is a place called “Golf Kissa Dome” in Yanagimoto-cho, Nishinomiya City, next to the citizens’ sports ground.

I don’t play golf myself, but my late father used to go there almost every day, so I was a little curious.
I had stopped by a few times before, and then I found out they have something called a “one-coin” plate.

During business hours, this plate comes with a drink for just 500 yen, tax included.
The toast seems to be made with specially ordered bread, and the thickness pairs perfectly with the butter. It also has a nice wheat aroma, which I really like.
The salad is chopped and prepared on the spot, so even though it looks modest, it is actually quite filling.

Wait, the regular coffee is 400 yen, so… you’d be missing out if you didn’t eat too.
So I think I’ll plan my visits around that.
Apparently they can also make an egg sandwich for the same price, so I’ll try ordering that next time.
Since it’s called “Golf Kissa Dome,” there was a practice area in the back of the cafe.
If you like golf, how about checking it out?
Here it is on the map:
The address is 5-16 Yanagimoto-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
That’s all for this time. It doesn’t matter whether the place has been featured on Nishitsu before or not, so please send us things like “I went to this shop and ate this!”Oh, the minimum requirement is that it has to be in Nishinomiya.
