Welcome to “Nishikon,” the corner where readers’ “I did this in Nishinomiya!” stories become articles.(It’s called Nishikon, but it has absolutely nothing to do with matchmaking or anything like that.)
For our 4th installment, we’re continuing with food!
I went for yakiniku at “Jukusei Yakiniku Ichiban,” where the stone-pot rice was truly exceptional【Nishikon Gourmet】
The “Gyuan” along the Hankyu Nakatsuhama Line near Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi has kept the same type of business,

but changed its name to 【Yakiniku Ichiban】.

The interior is brighter now, and the drink bar has a lot more to offer.

The Kalbi Lunch with [180g of meat] is 1,090 yen (1,199 yen including tax).
It comes with kalbi and wakame seaweed soup,

plus salad and napa cabbage kimchi.

The rice was stone-pot rice, freshly cooked and fluffy,

and it was super delicious.
I ordered Korean seaweed from the tablet at the table and wrapped the rice in it, and that was exceptional all over again.
When I put kimchi on the rice and wrapped it up in Korean seaweed … oh myyy 😋so good❗
I love natto, so I honestly wanted to bring some in (lol)
Though if I actually did that, I’d stand out, so I don’t think I would. ( *´艸`)
I feel like the quality of the meat has also gotten just a little better. Don’t quote me on that, though![]()
Just writing about it brings the excitement back… the memory is still so vivid. I’m going again. (grin)
Oh, right. The “Gyuan” along Shukugawa Tateishi Line also seems like it will eventually change to 【Yakiniku Ichiban】.
Here’s the map for “Yakiniku Ichiban” along Nakatsuhama Line↓
The address is 23-15 Oyamacho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
That’s all for this time. It doesn’t matter whether the shop has been featured on Nishitsu or not, so please send us a post like “I went to eat this at this shop!”Oh, the minimum requirement is that it has to be in Nishinomiya.
