Fresh Canelé
The vending machine lineup↓

At first glance, it looks like there are lots of options, but there’s actually only one item you can buy.
Here it is↓

Fresh Canelé 3-Piece Assortment 1,200 yen.
It comes with three flavors: custard, Belgian chocolate, and pistachio.
Just in case you’re wondering, fresh canelé is a French sweet made with rum, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
How to enjoy them↓

There are three ways to eat them.
- Melty: microwave for 10–15 seconds
- Chilled: keep in the refrigerator
- Chewy: eat at room temperature
If you prefer a less sweet taste, the refrigerator method seems to be recommended.
Final Thoughts
A fresh canelé vending machine is pretty unusual, isn’t it? Recently, we’ve seen things like beef motsunabe sets added to the Ichiryudo gyoza vending machines, and more trading card vending machines popping up too, so it feels like we’ll be seeing more interesting vending machines from here on out.
※Kentanaka and Jamaica, thank you for the information!!
