Construction on the building’s exterior has also progressed quite a lot.
You can see the wood-grain elements inside too, so it really feels like the interior work is moving along steadily.
There’s just a little over a month until opening. Since this will be their first store in Nishinomiya, there will probably be lines when it opens.

Across the street, there is Konan.
If you go this way, you’ll find Katsudon Yoshibei, FamilyMart, and other places.
If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll cross Rinko Line and find Gyomu Super, Yamaya, and other shops.
What Is Kaitenzushi Rikimaru?
It is a long-established, locally rooted conveyor-belt sushi chain with 14 locations from Kobe to Himeji. Since they didn’t have any stores east of Sannomiya, this will be their first location in Nishinomiya.
Some of their stores apparently have a fish tank inside, where they prepare swimming fish on the spot and serve them fresh.

Finally
The former Toridoll site had been empty after the restaurant closed, but now we’ve learned that a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant will be opening there. The opening is still about four months away, so we’ll keep following this story.
