This seems like an ideal layout for commuters and students buying bread or bento in the morning. After all, Life Imazu is the only Life supermarket in Hyogo Prefecture that opens as early as 8:00 a.m.
More Cut Salad Options
They’ve also expanded their selection of ready-to-eat salad in convenient single-serving sizes, perfect for people who don’t want the hassle of cutting vegetables.
They’re inexpensive too, like mini packs of daikon radish salad in bags for 79 yen before tax, and single-serving packed salads for 100 yen before tax.
There’s also quite a wide variety, including broccoli, pumpkin, beans, and cherry tomatoes.
According to the PR TIMES source for this information about the Life Imazu Ekimae store, the Imazu area has a large number of single-person households at 50.3%, and two-person households at 22.9%. The largest age group is people in their 30s.
People living alone often don’t get enough vegetables, so having a better selection of cut salads may be a welcome service.
They were also selling plenty of cut pineapple and other fruit.
