“Where on earth did the white koi in the Tsuto River go?” That request came in to Nishitsu.
This time, we received the following message from Coyote.

Where did the white koi in the Tsuto River go?
Last year, whenever I saw the white koi or turtles swimming around, I’d just decided to call it “the lucky white koi!” and felt so soothed. I saw it around Edion early this spring, but I haven’t seen it even once north of there.
Where did the koi go? If anyone knows, I’d be very grateful if you could let me know.

Actually, Nishitsu previously received a tip saying “There’s a white koi in the Tsuto River!” and we wrote an article about it. At the time, readers apparently called it “the master（ぬし） of the Tsuto River”, and there’s still a video of it.

Around the Tsuto River near Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi
Coyote spotted it “around Edion”
According to Coyote, the place where they saw the white koi and turtles this year (early spring) was around Edion Nishinomiya. North of there, apparently there’s no sign of the koi anymore….
“Where on earth did the koi go?” “Could the river’s water level or water quality have something to do with it?” “Did someone move them?” “They’re still in another spot!” There are all kinds of possibilities, but what’s really going on?

Anything is welcome, including info on the whereabouts of the Tsuto River koi, the white koi, or the turtles! Even small sightings, changes in the river, rumors, or anything minor are totally fine, so we’d be happy if you could let us know.
