We went to try the “Chilled Abura Soba Sanma Black” at Ramen Tanron, near the Jogaboricho intersection, a place we’ve featured before.
It’s a seasonal limited-time menu item at Tanron, a personal favorite I’ve been going to since I was a student. It’s planned to be available until around mid-September.

This is the “Chilled Abura Soba Sanma Black” I ordered this time (950 yen including tax).
A beautifully colorful bowl topped with two kinds of outstanding rare chashu!
Thinly sliced rare chashu.
It has a melt-in-your-mouth texture and tastes absolutely excellent.
This one is wonderfully tender too!
A saliva chicken-style meat that melts smoothly in your mouth.
The noodles are chewy, thick noodles that feel like classic “THE abura soba.”
They cling beautifully to the oil and sauce infused with the flavor of Pacific saury. It’s irresistible!
The refreshing paprika brings out the flavor even more✨

There’s a ticket vending machine at the shop entrance.
When I happened to pass by the shop, the words “Current Limited Special” caught my eye, and I couldn’t help rushing in!
It doesn’t seem like they offer a large size, but the thick, chewy noodles made it feel just as filling as a large portion!
