It looks like a supermarket called “F.F. MARCHE Ashiya” is opening next to McDonald’s near Uchide Station along National Route 2.

Area around “F.F. MARCHE Ashiya”

ENEOS is across the street.

If you head this way, you’ll find places like a McDonald’s with a drive-thru and KFC.

Going in the opposite direction, there’s the Big Boy that closed the other day, Ringer Hut, Life supermarket, and beyond that, the road heads toward Shukugawa.
What is F.F. MARCHE Ashiya?
It’s an upscale supermarket run by Flyfish Co., Ltd., the company that operates Super Tamade. It looks like they’ll be selling rare imported goods and other items.
It’s described as “a store for affluent customers, offering natural foods and pesticide-free produce,” and according to the official website, it seems to have the atmosphere of a French marché.
The combination of the two keywords, the operator of Super Tamade and Ashiya, seems to have made quite an impact, so it looks like it got a bit of buzz.
Our sister site Ashiya Tsushin actually reported on this back in October last year.
Pre-opening on Wednesday, April 27.
Grand opening on April 28.
We covered it in “Looks like a supermarket called ‘F.F. MARCHE Ashiya’ is opening in Uchide along Route 2. Pre-opening scheduled from Wednesday, April 27.”

The store name is also written on the side.

The white framework inside has us curious. We’re guessing it’ll turn into something stylish with a French marché vibe.

It definitely seems to stand apart from the typical supermarket layout.

There’s a lawn next to the supermarket, and water was being sprinkled on it like this.
Partner Parking Location
It looks like F.F. MARCHE Ashiya has a partner parking lot.

If you go down the road on the Nishinomiya side of the building,

it was on the corner of the first intersection.
It was probably full with cars belonging to construction workers.
Final Thoughts
The newly opening F.F. MARCHE Ashiya was recently featured on TV as well. Since it’s an upscale supermarket run by the company behind Super Tamade, it seems to be attracting a lot of attention. The location is also close to Nishinomiya, so we’ll keep covering it if there are any further updates!
